Red Dead Redemption 2: The Ledger
First, you need to learn how what a ledger is and how to use it. The ledger of the camp is basically the hub of everything. All of the transactions concerning the camp are made through it. Furthermore, you are able to buy upgrades for your camp using the ledger. When you have enough money to donate the camp, you can use that money to upgrade it. It's fairly simple!
The ledger can be found at the back of Dutch’s tent in camp, right beside the money box. Just walk up to it and press the necessary action button.
Red Dead Redemption 2: Camp Icons
Camp icons are the most intuitive and basic way to find out what to upgrade. In total, there are seven main things you can upgrade in the camp, which are represented with unique icons. Supplies are the ones you will need the most. In addition, you can upgrade Arthur's tent, Mr. Pearson’s cooking station, and minigames. You can find the full list of supplies below.

- Horse Station
- Chicken Coop
- Leather Working Tools
- Camp Boat
If you run low on one of the supplies above, you can replenish them using some money. Paying the restocking fee is enough to obtain more of any supply, so you will be in a safe spot. One of the most important upgrades is "Horse Station". With this upgrade, you will be able to call your horse back to the camp if you ever leave them back somewhere else.
Red Dead Redemption 2: Leather Working Tools
In the game, from time to time, you will realize you need a bigger satchel to play with comfort. Therefore, you will need to have the leatherworking tools. On the last page of the Ledger, you’ll find an option to obtain them, which lets Mr. Pearson to craft leatherware for you. Satchels and some cosmetic items can be crafted this way.
