PUBG is experimenting with a new vehicle that is capable of flying
The developer is testing the first air vehicle of the game as part of PUBG's experimental section PUBG Labs.
The motor glider, accessible at 11 pm PT, 2 am ET (23), 7 am UK (23), now and until December 22, provides a basic but fast way to get around the world.
Only after achieving a speed of 70 km/h, the two-seater vehicle can float, and the passenger can fire and use throwables while on board. The engine on the back is a huge rotor that can be damaged by gunfire, allowing the pilot to hopefully float to safety.
The motor glider on Erangel and Miramar is a world spawn, which are the two maps available in PUBG Labs. This time-limited test allows up to 80 players per server for both first and third-person matches.
PUBG Corp. is, of course, asking for feedback, and there is no guarantee that the functionality will make it live game. Until then, go to the in-game tab of PUBG Labs to get in the queue for a match and experience the battle royale in air too.
