After the longest Overwatch lull in history, it's about time we all picked ourselves up off the floor and got our talents back in working order. La life, à la death, as Widowmaker put it. However, since the release of Overwatch, what seems like a million years ago, video games have advanced, and we now have subscription services, so you might be wondering if Overwatch 2 is available on Game Pass.
Since Microsoft is in the process of acquiring Activision Blizzard, I'm sure many players would love to receive free Overwatch 2 content as part of their monthly subscription plan as extra unlocks. The game on Game Pass is a fantastic concept.
So, given that the game is a free game to play, is it available on Game Pass, and if so, what are the benefits? Read on to learn more.
Is Overwatch 2 available on Game Pass?
Blizzard announced that the game is not included in Game Pass because it is a free-to-play hero shooter. Game Pass users may also receive a variety of other products, unlocks, and cosmetics, thus it provides much more than simply video games. Additionally, given the growing closeness between Activision and Microsoft since the purchase news, Xbox Game Pass customers may receive some extra bonuses.
If Game Pass does include any Overwatch 2 goods, these additional things might only be available for one month or they might come in a set every month.
