We are eager to play Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, which has the potential to be one of the best competitive first-person shooter games of the year. If you're impatiently awaiting the Modern Warfare 2 release date like everyone else, you need to see the most recent Modern Warfare 2 launch gameplay trailer from Infinity Ward. In addition to getting a wonderful look at Price, Ghost, and Task Force 141, we also get our first actual glimpse at the campaign mode of Modern Warfare 2.
As you can see in the photo below, Task Force 141, under the command of Laswell, is working with Colonel Alejandro Vargas of the Mexican Special Forces. Although we still don't know who they are pursuing, we do know that they have a terrorist group at their beck and call. Additionally, it appears that they will have access to some formidable weapons.
It appears like Modern Warfare 2 will once again test Captain Price and his squad to the breaking point in order to rescue the day because it appears that the War on Terror is taking resources away from the more crucial War on Drugs.
New Modern Warfare 2 trailer sets the stakes
The Modern Warfare 2 campaign appears to be taking us on a global excursion, as promised; this action-packed trailer includes scenes of bustling city streets, green fields, and skyscrapers. It only takes a moment to see it for yourself if you watch the video below:
We notice an American character who remarkably resembles Chad Michael Collins, Alex's VA from Modern Warfare 2019, at the 00:43 moment in the film. Even if he doesn't quite resemble the CIA agent stated earlier, we do know that he makes it through the Modern Warfare 2019 campaign, and his appearance in the sequel would be an intriguing way to continue his tale. Why not Alex if Farah Karim, a major player in Urziksta, is going to be substantially involved?
Take this with a grain of salt, though, as his inclusion in Modern Warfare 2 has not yet been confirmed. This may very well be a totally other persona, for all we know.
There is a lot to anticipate when this shooter launches, including rumors that Modern Warfare 2 leaks indicate iconic Call of Duty maps will return as expensive DLC and a Modern Warfare 2 task list that has fans worried for Ghost. We just hope the hype is justified.
