Various images of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer have leaked online in the past few hours, and they all seem to come from social accounts of players from the LA Rams, an American football team that plays in the NFL.

The reason for this strange source is quickly stated: Activision must have held a private presentation event with players from the LA Rams team, who were shown a preview of the game with a chance to try it out for themselves. Obviously, these did not miss the opportunity to take photos and videos, probably unaware that the material was under NDA.

In particular, Cameron Dicker also posted a short video showing some screenshots and menus about the multiplayer of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, except then evidently realizing (or being warned) that he had broken an embargo since the video was removed.

In any case, various photos have begun to circulate and the short video in question has also resurfaced, published by other sources such as CharlieIntel. It is difficult to draw much information about the game from the published materials, since they are mostly screenshots about the multiplayer lobby and various menus, which are probably not even final given the time still manga before the game's release.

As a reminder, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II has a release date set for Oct. 28, 2022, and in the meantime we remain waiting for an official presentation of the multiplayer, which some say could take place in September.
