Rockstar keeps developing GTA Online even years after its initial release. With this week's update, the game received an event called "Open Wheel Racing". With the event, players are able to experience Formula 1 races within the Grand Theft Auto. You will be able to compete and themed racings.

Some of the racing cars really resemble real-life Formula 1 cars. To be exact, The Progen PR4 looks very similar to the McLaren MP4/6. We must say that this update will make racing fans really happy since it brings a new mode and a handful of new cars to the game.

You will be able to upgrade some of the components of the cars to make them better. The engine, wings and the looks of the cars will be completely customizable. Therefore, you will be able to compete and develop your car as long as you stay in the race. There are going to be seven new tracks in the game, in addition to the new cars.

You will be able to take advantage of a new speed system, which is nitrous in principle. Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS) will provide players with a new alternative to gain an advantage in races. If you like, you can watch the GTA Online trailer above.
