God of War: Ragnarok will soon be released. The entire year's most anticipated game, I believe. We don't know much about the story's length or the game's download size, but a recent leak may have disclosed the PlayStation 4's true size.
God of War Ragnarok file size on PS4
The file size of GoW Ragnarok for the PS4 was revealed by PlayStation Game Size on Twitter, which has previously published the legitimate game sizes.
The user wrote that Sony had patched his size finding technique earlier this year, so he could not confirm the exact size. However, the God of War: Ragnarok page has been updated, showing that the game's total size on the PlayStation 4 is 90.6 GB.
The size isn't proven because his size finder was patched, making it only a possibility. However, based on this, we can obtain a reasonable idea of how much space to set aside while downloading the game. Additionally, PlaystationSize noted that there might be a change because the PKG size isn't always accurate. Without updates, the size would be.
Additionally, the size of some games varies depending on the location, as was the case with Horizon: Forbidden West. Given that the successor to Horizon was also in the 90–100 GB area, GoW: Ragnarok might do the same. Additionally, the size could be reduced for the PlayStation 5. Sony's Kraken compressor technology, used by PS5, is said to be able to reduce game sizes by 60%. Given that SSDs are typically more expensive than HDDs, this is a clever strategy.
About GoW: Ragnarok
The 2018 film God of War will be directly followed by God of War: Ragnarok. It will serve as the capstone to the Santa Monica Studios-produced video games based on Norse mythology. The event occurs three years after the first God of War. Fimbulwinter is almost over, which brings the rumored Ragnarok closer.
The plot centers on Kratos and Atreus exploring the nine kingdoms in an effort to avert the events of Ragnarok while looking for evidence that Atreus is indeed Loki. Release date for God of War: Ragnarok is November 8, 2022. Pre-orders for it are currently open for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. We are quite excited for the game and are hoping it lives up to the anticipation.
