Yes, you heard it right! Even though we already knew many Playstation exclusive titles were going to be available on PC but Ghost of Tsushima title is still amazing news for the fans.

With its frequent retractions of the PlayStation Exclusive label, Sony has been shocking us lately. This has made us think that Ghost of Tsushima PC will be the next game on that list. The bulk of gamers were ecstatic at the prospect of seeing feudal Japan when the first Samurai AAA game was unveiled back in 2017.

The emergence of exclusivity quickly destroyed that bubble. Imagine being able to play God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Spiderman on anything other than a PlayStation 4 in 2022. These current facts do support the rumored Ghost of Tsushima PC port.

Although this isn't the only information we're basing this speculation on, a number of leaks from the past, like the Nvidia 2.0 support, named a number of PlayStation exclusives. All currently available PlayStation ports were included in the leak, though the release windows might have changed. Given that, it only seems like a matter of time before Ghost of Tsushima makes its way over to PC.

How do we actually know?

We can hear you ask this question and the answer is simple. The devil is in the details. We noticed that what happened with Zero Dawn and Days Gone before coming to the PC is happening exactly the same way. So, what was that? Boxart for the Amazon was updated with the removal of the "Playstation Only" label. You didn't think it was this easy, did you? Let's remind you Days Gone and Zero Dawn are both on PC right. If that doesn't satisfy you, here's what Sony said a little while ago:

Particularly from the latter half of the PS4 cycle our studios made some wonderful, great games. There’s an opportunity to expose those great games to a wider audience and recognise the economics of game development, which are not always straightforward.

You haven't played Ghost of Tsushima yet? Oh, we are so happy for you because you'll be able to experience it for the first time. It's that good.

If you're having a hard time what imagining the game is like, try this. You have the freedom of the Breath of the Wild mixed up with a bit of Red Dead Redemption in an open world AAA game. On top of that you're a samurai in Japan under a Mongol Invasion. If that doesn't sound exciting, we don't know what can.

Ghost of Tsushima PC Release Date & Where Can We Get It?

God of War is the newest title in the "not so PlayStation exclusive line-up." The game was published in January of this year. Also just announced at State of Play on June 3 was the release date for Spiderman Remastered on PC, which is set for August 12, 2022.

Their carefully chosen release dates for their ports make it obvious that they don't want any of their releases to coincide. Days Gone became available in May 2021, while Horizon Zero Dawn, Death Stranding, and Days Gone were all released in 2020. All of these additional hints point to a forthcoming Ghost of Tsushima PC port.

We anticipate updates soon given those strategically chosen timings and Sony's inherent determination in entering the Windows market. Ghost of Tsushima probably won't debut on PC until until 2022.

There is now hardly any sort of firm release date to anticipate. There isn't even a mysterious tweet from Sucker Punch that will lead players into a never-ending web of rumors. But if we had to guess, we'd say the following year. Therefore, a Ghost of Tsushima PC release is anticipated for sometime in Q3 2023.

We also believe that the release may coincide with the reveal of Ghost of Tsushima 2. This seems to be a financial move by Sony. It's common knowledge that the PS5 saw a sharp increase in demand following the release of the Horizon Zero Dawn port.

Many users noted that they were attempting to take advantage of the lucrative PC market. In an ironic move, Sony has already disclosed anticipated sales of an astounding $300 million.

Will Ghost of Tsushima be Released on Steam?

When it comes to accessing video games, Steam is well regarded. If you're questioning whether or not a game will be offered there, it's usually a done thing. So, the question of whether Ghost of Tsushima will be made available on Steam is now answered. It is almost certainly true. Yes, there is an Epic Games Store, but Steam has a much wider audience. God of War was published earlier this year concurrently on both sites, though that isn't always the case.

It's still a win-win situation for PC gamers whether Ghost of Tsushima launches on Steam or the Epic Store. A Triple-A samurai game for the PC would be exciting. If an announcement does take place, it will probably be at a significant occasion. Watch for any forthcoming State of Plays, then. Maybe you'll find just what you're looking for.
