Epic Store has been around for more than a year now, and its numbers show how good it is. Epic Games Store had 108 million customers in 2019, in total spending $680 million. It should be noted that only a part, $251 million was spent on third-party games and additional content.

By far, the highest-grossing title in the Epic Store is claimed to be Fortnite. Continuing, Epic Games also confirmed some of the top performers in its store, namely: World War Z, Borderlands 3, The Division 2, Control, Metro Exodus, The Outer Worlds, Dauntless, Satisfactory and Untitled Goose Game.

With the free weekly promotion campaign, Epic Games gave away 73 games in total last year. It is already announced that more giveaways with the free weekly promotion will be done in 2020. In the infographic released by Epic Games, it is noted that over 200 million copies of games were claimed.

To sum up, we can say that the past year was very successful for the Epic Games Store. $251 million spent on third-party games does not take Epic subsidies and coupons into account, therefore the money directly went to the developers. This alone adds a lot to the store's achievements, helping it to be completely developer-friendly.
