Zombies are coming back to Rebirth Island in Call of Duty: Warzone during a temporary event called "Rebirth of the Dead. The event is playable through August 25, 2022.
Developed by Beenox, the new mode is different from the previous Zombies event. A new infestation mechanic makes surviving on the island just a little more difficult than usual. Players who are killed by a zombie come back as a zombie. During an infestation, everyone who is dead resurrects so there is an even greater invasion on the island.
Players who play as zombies gain new skills and tools in Warzone. Some examples are a Charged Jump that allows you to jump higher and an EMP Blast that can disable gadgets. For more Call of Duty, you can look forward to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. That game will be released in October 2022.
